It has been said that getting a pet maybe the only time we get to choose our family.
This said it can be devastating and heartbreaking to lose an animal that has given you unconditional love over many years.
Just because the deceased is an animal, it doesn’t mean that they didn’t matter or didn’t have a profound impact on our lives. I can apply exactly the same criteria to your beloved pet as I can to a departed human.
