Hello, I just wanted to say thank you for creating a truely fitting service for Stephen last week.
I also wanted to apologise for taking a while to send this message-
work has been manic but it's half term now, so all seems calmer!
Anyway, I think because of the nature of Stephen's death and the unhappiness
he often felt it was the saddest funeral I have ever been too but I thought the
service you created did him proud. It sounds very silly but it felt like you knew him
and we all really appreciate that you put the effort into personalise the service so much.
I'm finding it all a lot harder after the funeral- I think because it made it all real and final.
But, at the same time, it did really help and I want to say thank you for how you helped to
explain the suicide and our need to respect his decision. That made a lot of sense and has helped.
I am also grateful that you gave us the opportunity to read our tribute- I think I needed
to say those things for myself and to Stephen- if that's at all possible!
Anyway, sorry for rambling on.
Your job must be very challenging and draining but a funeral where people smile
and cry is what is needed- so thank you.
Tess

You spent 3 and a half hours at Sue and Ed's when we thought it would be 2.
When they shut the front door the looked at each other and said
"We have found the right guy for the job, he is perfect" and you were!
Thank you."-Mary

"Thank you for my brother's funeral.
A lot of people have said (awkwardly) it's the best funeral they have ever been to.
His friends especially seemed to like it and it's helped some of them come to better terms with it."

Alan,
Once again thank you for doing what you did so well.
Everybody praised you, on how you deivered the service and how good the service was on a whole.
Gemma, once again amazed even me with her bravery on the day and I believe it is thanks to your delivey which made it so much easier for her.
On behalf of the Archers, Thankyou, and when the day comes for me and Gem to tie the knot, I believe we may have found our man! haha
Yours faithfully
AJ...(AKA TONY)
